Hi everyone!

With several staff members stepping down, I am in dire need of members who are capable of helping me out on the site. Ideally, members that have been staff/judges on other sites would be preferable since you would know how things work (for the most part) but don't hesitate to audition if you are new to the role(s)!

MODERATOR AUDITIONS
We will be looking for THREE-FOUR members to join the moderator team.

If you've been on a roleplay site like this before, you'll know the general gist of what's expected from site moderators. Duties that we would need our moderators to fulfiill would include:
- Processing and then removing requests in the Maintenance threads; this includes Emblem requests, General Maintenance requests and Pride Maintenance requests. This doesn't involve Kismet-related requests; if you are interested in helping me with Kismet stuff, we can definitely talk about it once you're on the team.
- Archiving old IC/OOC threads (so any thread that hasn't had a post in longer than 1 month).
- Going through adverts/affiliate requests in the Advertise with Us board, and responding/archiving where necessary.
- Being present in the Discord (if you can) and answering questions that people might have about how things work on the site, character design and so on. Anything more in-depth can be put forward to senior staff by tagging us!
- Someone to run our 'Of the Moments' at the end of every Season.
- We also want to work on a more structured way of doing our Date Nights.


Duties like accepting applications and making contests will be left with Senior staff (so Munk and myself) for the time being, but we will be discussing a lot of ideas for the future in the staff Discord so moderators would definitely get a say in the things that we end up posing to you guys in polls and discussion threads!

Anyone that we add to the staff team will get refreshers on any of the above tasks if they need it, and anyone super new to this sort of thing will be shown fully, so please don't be afraid to ask! A lot of it is pretty easy once you know how to do it.

JUDGE AUDITIONS
We will be looking for TWO judges to join the judging team.

Something else to bear in mind is that, for every fight a Judge reviews, they get 50 Emblems. We might even look at increasing that amount for bigger fights, so.... good way to get a steady income in! ;)

The only responsibility of a Judge is... to judge fights! Our Judging Guide will be available to all Judges once they are promoted, so everyone who needs to know will know what to look for when marking a fight post. Judges can be given anything from a dominance spar to a pride challenge or even a maim or death match - the more important ones will have a follow up screening from an Administrator before the final result is decided. This is for everyone's benefit, and not because we don't trust your judgement!

ARTIST AUDITIONS
We will be looking for ONE-TWO artists to join the artist team.

So this is something I whipped up, mainly because it would be nice to have someone on hand that wants to help around with the artsy side of Velstand. The main duty for this would be to make the banners that'd be displayed in the Welcome Box at the top of the site. Wallflower was previously doing it, and with the banner she also made a table for the winners. You don't have to do this, I'm just looking for the banners to be done in a timely fashion, but if you feel like doing tables and more for the winners, feel free!

I am also in search for someone that is relatively good at making pixel art and things like that. If you are auditioning for the Artist role, please link to some of your recent creations in the application!

Please note: You CAN be all three positions, so don't think you have to choose one over the other; you can 100% be all three if you have the time and want to do it!

EXPERIENCE WITH MYBB/CODING: I won't lie, this will also get you massive brownie points. MASSIVE. I don't know much about coding, so having someone on the team who knows a bit about it would be amazing.<br>
