It caught him by surprise when his ol’ partner not only arrived to the event but also challenged for a rank of his own. His brows would rise as a soft rumble of laughter escaped him, head shakin’ back and forth. So Iz wanted to gain a rank of his own, eh? Lucien wasn’t one to deny him the chance, but he also didn’t think the lion was that interested in gainin’ rank. Golden eyes would watch as nobody would come to challenge, just like what happened with Dresden, and the Nebrora King would take several steps towards his newest Baron. Looks like yer gonna hafta show yer ugly mug a lot more now since yer Baron. Lips curled into a playful grin, ears prickin’ forward before his attention was grabbed by the brawl Arsynia and Pandora were still engaged in.

But the fight wouldn’t last much longer. Pandora would come out on top one way or another and Lucien would let his head nod in her direction. Looks like Nebrora has a Duchess! Deep voice would drawl, eyes shiftin’ to glance over at Arsynia to see how she was farin’. He hoped she was okay; he wasn’t sure how she would be after takin’ a loss.

It would seem like the event was comin’ to a close, most of the higher ranks fill in’ out quite nicely. Good job everyone! With a rank comes more responsibility, and I expect ya’ll t’ keep the good name of Nebrora goin’. I’m happy t’ see ambitious lions that roam the Plains. Gaze would look at each lion that received a rank today, speakin’ to them more superficially than the rest that had gathered here. After a moment’s pause would Lucien then take his leave, headin’ towards his den to get some much needed rest.

As he took his seat next to his sister, he was not surprised in the least by her teasing tone, once again reminding him, as his elder sisters both loved to do, of his place in the birth order. He merely rolled his eyes before attempting to bump his shoulder against hers teasingly. The reverie was interrupted just then by another voice, the silver beast turned his head to meet the pale eyes of the new Baroness as she joined them. As always, the company of stranger put him on edge, but he supposed that his new title would come with some level of diplomacy, so try he must. "Congratulations to you, Baroness," he returned the compliment, just as he caught his sister's meaningful look.

His skin flushed hot as he was made aware of the female attention it must seem he was getting, but all he could muster for an answer was a half-hearted shrug. No one challenges Israel, either, again not surprising as there were only the three grown men thus far, but Dresden does get the chance to see the child the big cowboy spoke of. Just then, the two lionesses unexpectedly broke apart, Pandora having come out the winner. His first reaction was to find Arsynia, but she left immediately and he frowned, deciding he would just have to find her later. Distracted now, he was grateful when their King made his exit so he could follow suit. "Ladies? Shall we?" he offered to the women at his sides, remembering his manners though his voice was perhaps a little taut.
